Bolster bed size guide

Measure your dog from nose to the base of the tail while they are lying stretched out, then add about 15cm. Between two sizes, go up — the bolsters sit within these outer measurements, so the flat sleeping area is smaller than the figures below.

L
75 x 50cm
14cm high
Up to 25kg · 60cm long
Border Collie, Bulldog, Beagle
XL
100 x 60cm
19cm high
Up to 45kg · 85cm long
Labrador, German Shepherd, Boxer
2XL
120 x 80cm
20cm high
Up to 65kg · 105cm long
Great Dane, Rottweiler, Mastiff

Why the bolsters change things

The raised sides are part of the outer measurement, not extra space. A dog stretched out uses the flat centre, not the bolster edges — when in doubt, size up.
